College, Careers, & Cash

The College, Careers, & Cash program is a financial empowerment curriculum designed to help Delaware students envision and plan for their future. This program is being implemented at selected schools; contact your local high school to determine their level of engagement.

Stand By Me: NexGen’s College, Careers, & Cash program offers financial literacy education for high school students that will successfully put them on the pathway to post-secondary education and careers. Our constantly-evolving programming consists of interactive and engaging classroom workshops that help students understand the connection between making good decisions and being successful adults.

Program goals:

  1. Connect the dots between career pathways, post-secondary education, and lifestyle
  2. Integrate financial literacy into existing school curriculum to build an understanding of how much money is needed to support lifestyle goals
  3. Demonstrate the connections between higher education and career opportunities
  4. Allow students to identify post-secondary options that best fit their career plans
  5. Engage school faculty, staff, and administration to work in partnership with this project
