The College Funding Team is excited to partner with you in promoting and hosting financial aid workshops this academic year. Through collaborations with the Delaware Higher Education Office, we’ve created a Marketing Toolkit for Educators, which contains all the tools that you need to promote the joint events at your school.
You can download a zip file with all elements of the toolkit from this link:
The toolkit includes:
Event Registration Page: We will create an event page via Constant Contact to enable electronic registration in advance of each event. Sally will send these links via email. Please promote the registration link. You should place it on your website, enewletters and social media pages. With use of the link, we experience greater participation and a smoother registration process. We can also follow up with attendees and offer them useful information to help with college preparation.
Save the Date Flyer: You can fill out the required information within the flyer, created in a Word document. One flyer is for general financial aid workshops. The other is for scholarship workshops. Distribute this flyer to your students and post them on bulletin boards and classrooms.
Morning Announcement Template: Use this announcement in the morning or at school gatherings. Please share the message as often as possible.
Press Release Template: The press release goes out to your local newspaper and radio station. Make sure to send it at least three weeks in advance of the event.
Social Media Images and Banners: Use the banner on your website or intranet and link them to your event registration page, which we will create for you. Use the social image, along with the messages created for you, to promote the event on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
Social Media Messages: Just cut and paste the messages to your Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram page to encourage more people to attend your event.
Menu of Services: List of workshops and services available through $tand By Me’s College Funding Project.
